I joined the Kettering Fire Department in Feb 1992 and received my EMT in the Summer of 1994. I was promoted
to Lieutenant in 1996, and then to Captain in Jan of 1999.
I also am a member of the FEMA Urban
Search and Rescue Team Ohio Task Force One, where I serve as a Planning Team Manager.

I was born and raised in Kettering, graduating from Kettering Fairmont High
School in 1991. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton in
1996, and my Master Project Manager's Certificate in 2007, from AAPM.
I am employeed by Cohen
at their Fayette Recycling facility in Washington Court House as the General Manager.
I have been married for 14
years to my wife Emily, and we have four children; Kennedy (11), Lance (6), & Reese (4), and Brooks (9 months).
